Kristine Von Hilderbrandt is the mind behind Scarlett Menagerie. New to the Melbourne scene (originally from Brisbane) Kristine has been working as a Freelance Costume Designer and Set Dresser for seven years now. A small selection of her works include designing and creating costumes for Brisbane Arts Theatre's The Addams Family Musical, Nash Theatre's Sweeney Todd, and Eltham Little Theatre's The Importance of Being Earnest. Her main inspirations include Pre-Raphaelite history, watercolour floral paintings, forgotten aged lace trims, 1940s Australian Art, and Graphic Novels. Bringing her trained experience as a dressmaker to the catwalk Kristine will showcase her love for the surreal. Each garment on the catwalk will be hand crafted with love and whimsy.
