Steampunk laser cut automata, victorian inspired silhouette art and curiosities brought to life by a mad inventor.
Ok, so heres the full story of how this whole thing started:
Ive always had a grand master plan to become steampunk supervillian.
It was just one of those things, always have been in love with the quirky crazy mad disgruntled genius inventor in one of those awesome looking brass machines stomping around with an army of clockwork robots, trying to bend the world to some sort of a crazy whim.
Fast forward 20 years later and here we are. A little less supervillain and a bit more mad inventor, everything I do is aimed at bringing some sort of a change to the cold modern digital age.
Art nouveau and deco is where its at in my mind. Where everything hit peak awesome and visually wonderful. Where mass manufacture, didnt just mean industry for sake of industry - it meant we could make more beautiful things faster! An optimistic view of the world where machines could solve our problems.
So, using a laser cutter I set out to try and create a sort of "soulful industrialism".
