As a jeweller and silversmith with 40 years of experience in creating jewellery, sculpture and wearable art I am launching into a new era reflecting the recent pandemic. I  explore themes of isolation, social. emotional and physical distancing, these masked creations are part of  a range of COVID-19 wearable art called THE COVERT COLLECTION 2021. Each wearable art piece will be unique and sculptural using base metals and non-precious materials also some of the found objects discovered in the wake of our lockdown. I want this range to speak anxiety, relief, anger, joy, despair and hope some of the many dualities that link our world to the human condition can be explored in this performative wearable art collection.
